The Choral Arts Society Chorale of Madison promotes choral music through performance, education, sponsorship of musical exchanges, and the encouragement of local artists.
Our mission is to provide a musical outlet for amateur singers to share their work and talent with a broad cross-section of our community.
The Choral Arts Society Chorale was founded by renowned conductor Rod Witte following his retirement from Madison’s La Follette High School and continues to flourish after more than 15 years of performing and supporting choral music in the Madison area. See the About Us page for information about our current conductor, Mikko Utevsky.
The choir performs two main concerts per year, usually in May and December. We are also available for free performances for churches, retirement communities, and other audiences throughout the area. See the Concerts page for more. The group performs a variety of material from all eras, including a cappella pieces and works accompanied by piano and chamber orchestra.
The Choral Arts Society Chorale of Madison is an independent nonprofit performing organization not affiliated with any church or other group.
