Fall 2010 Semester Schedule:

From the Director, 9/1/2010:
Hi Everyone! I am excited to start up again! This year will feature a concert based on belief systems, with the first half focusing on Christianity. It will feature a multi movement Credo by Vivaldi (Credo literally means "I believe") from a larger mass of his and will have violin, cello, and organ/harpsichord accomp. One of my small ensembles will also present a Christian perspective, at this point likely a sextet doing a cappella sections of an Renaissance mass by Isaac. The second half will feature several small a cappella and piano accomp pieces that have a different take on life, death, philosophy, etc - basically the choral alternative as so much choral music is Christian. More to follow!!
You are also lucky and I am sure thrilled to hear that Kirstin is returning!! Yay! You were stuck with me though no matter what... ;)
We will start rehearsing on Monday Sept 13th, 7:00-9:00 and will rehearse for 14 weeks with a concert then on Sat Dec. 18th at 7:30 at Immanuel. Date of our pre-concert concert at Oakwood is TBD.
If you are new, you do not need to audition. Please come on the 13th and we'll try it out and see if we are a match! If you are a returning member, but have decided to NOT sing, please let me know!
